Our Standards

The basics 

At Axta Detailing, we use only ultra-premium car care products sourced from the most trusted names in the industry including Koch Chemie, Autoglym, Meguiar’s, and Autofinesse, to name just a few. Every product we apply has been carefully selected, thoroughly tested, and is used strictly in line with professional training and manufacturer guidelines to ensure optimal results.
 

Our equipment is just as important. We use pressure washers specifically designed for automotive detailing, ensuring the correct pressure is used to clean safely and effectively avoiding damage that can come from using improper equipment.
 

We also take into careful consideration the type, age, and condition of your vehicle’s paintwork. For example, the delicate finish on a vintage Porsche requires a very different approach compared to the modern, high-gloss paint on a new BMW. Every detail matters, and we treat each vehicle as unique.

Our goal is simple: to deliver the exceptional service you deserve, while preserving the value, condition, and appearance of your vehicle keeping it looking its best for years to come.

We are trained professionals who take immense pride in our craftsmanship. While detailing may not be rocket science, we believe in doing it right. And if, for any reason, you're not completely satisfied with a service, we will put it right even if that means a complete rewash.

What we ask from you

What to Expect on the Day of Your Detail

While some mobile detailers carry water tanks, we choose to work with mains water and electricity whenever possible. This allows us to use the right amount of water especially when tackling stubborn dirt or heavily soiled vehicles and ensures we can deliver the highest level of detail your vehicle deserves.

We kindly ask for access to an outdoor tap and power socket. If either is located at a distance, no problem just let us know in advance and we’ll bring the appropriate extension reels and hoses to reach your setup comfortably.
 
To help us achieve the best possible finish, we also ask that your vehicle is parked in a shaded area during the detail. Direct sunlight can affect product performance and drying times, so shade allows for a more flawless result.
 
Your Comfort Matters
 
You're more than welcome to ask us any questions, either in advance or on the day. If you'd like to relax and watch the process, feel free to bring out a chair and enjoy the transformation we’ll do all the hard work while you sit back.
 
Timing & Scheduling

Depending on the service you've booked, the detailing process can take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. If you're on a tight schedule, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your timing.
You can reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations made within 24hrs of the booking will incur a £35 fee, as we reserve that time exclusively for your vehicle, we can reduce this depending on circumstances if rebooked.

Payment 

We only take payment on the day after our service is done, we will never ask to pay upfront, unless you have chosen one of our Gift Cards. We do ask for prompt payment when you are satisfied with our service and tips are always welcome and very much appreciated.

Privacy

Your Privacy Is Always Respected

At Axta Detailing, your privacy is one of our top priorities whether you're a public figure or booking on behalf of someone who is. If discretion is important, just let us know at the time of booking and we’ll ensure everything is handled with the utmost professionalism (we promise to keep the fanboying to ourselves!).
 
During your appointment, we may politely ask for permission to take photographs or video clips of the vehicle for our portfolio. Rest assured registration plates will always be covered or blurred, and we’ll never share images without your consent.
